The largest spider in the UK is the ‘House Spider’...I hate them...I hate the garden spiders as well…

The largest spiders i have in my house...are my two Tarantulas...which don’t bother me in the slightest…

Funny that..

haha! Bless, I know men and women are equal but I still can’t help but giggle to myself when men are scared of Spiders, my partner is the same and he is a big bastard lol.

I would have squished him for you.

I am not too fond of the common house spider, but only because they seem to live longer than they’re supposed to. I was told they only live about a week, but I have seen spiders in the bathroom before now, and I swear to god they were there 6 months previous.

I want a turantula though, they are chunky so not squite so scary.

That is sort of like me. Tarantulas don’t bother me as much, but I am shit scared of normal spiders. Saying that, I still wouldn’t have a tarantula in my house, let alone 2.

When I was about 16 me and an old friend Amy put a house spider in an old coffee jar and suspended him from her bedroom ceiling, we called him David Blain.

Unfortunately, with no food or water......or air, he didn’t last as long as the real Mr Blain.

Lol, you would be amazed at how many ‘that’s cruel’ comments we got. It would appear that stomping, flushing down the plug hole, throwing out the window, feeding to the pets are more ‘humane’ ways to dispose of a spider.

*We didn’t get our chance to pelt the glass with eggs either!*
