I was posting to the Porn Palace a couple of minutes ago and got a 503 - Service Unavailable - Guru Meditation. Tried about 30 seconds later - same thing. Got a fresh beer and tried about three minutes later and all worked OK.

Ok…

You’ll get that ‘503 Error’ page when the server has a sudden increase in traffic...then it will adjust itself and come back as normal....

You will also see it when someone is working on or updating the server.

This is probably pointless now but yeah, DB is right.
503 is HTTP Server Unavailable. It’s probably just busy.

The Guru Meditation bit is probably a humorous reference to the old Commodore Amiga error messages described at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guru_Meditation
