“When it comes to bullshit; big-time, major-league bullshit you have to stand in awe, IN AWE, of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims - religion. No contest!”
I just wrote a really funny post about great religious men of our time, like Dog the Bounty Hunter, Hulk Hogan, Father Brendan Smyth and Osama Bin Laden, but I pressed the wrong button and deleted it instead of posting it. Take it from me though, it was fucking hilarious with loads of amusing hyperlinks...........
And thanks for the Carlin btw, It seemed appropriate
I have zero tolerance for religious ideals and beliefs (including anything paranormal)..
I cannot and will not, ever accept that an invisible being that lives in the sky, that has never proven itself to exist, created me.
Anyone who believes in ghosts, spirits, gods, demons...are fucking ridiculous.
As each day goes by...science is proving the non-existance of God and the paranormal...Churches are closing daily..attendance being the lowest it has ever been since records began in the UK.
The 21st century has no place for medieval, backward thinking. It has no place for ‘Ghost whisperers’ and their delusional followers.
I have no time for any of it.
(and don’t forget...there are no ‘born deaf’ mediums or psychics...Does the afterlife totally think them unworthy scum of having such a ‘gift’...seeing as Mediums now claim they only get ‘visual clues’ in their minds and not ‘hear voices’....due to several lawsuits in the USA..)
It’s all bollox..and i feel sorry for the people that believe in such garbage.

Couldnt of said it any better mate! Exaclty what I beleive as well.
I feel sorry for people who need to depend on religion to make sence of their life. & for someone needing a bible for them to know what is rite & wrong?? Thats just pathetic!
Wow! That’s hell it it? It doesnt look that bad does it!?
I dont know what the big fuss about it! I wouldnt mind going there for a while.
Looks to be allot of naked women & alot sex going on down there!
Ha looks like someone is getting butt fucked too! There’s some horsey rides & looks like some theme park rides, swimming pools & strange looking castles!
That is exactly where the problem is. When you have zero tolerance.
I really do not have any problems with it. If you think that your cow is sacred, worship it. It`s your cow, not mine and you can do whatever you believe it`s right.
You can paint it pink, dress her up in Versace and sleep with her, I don`t mind. Just do not pack her with C4 and send her to first coffee shop packed with people.

Like a criminal who discovered god, or a drug addict and changed their ways…
I think you have a good point.
I think there is a place for religion in the world.
While there are dumb people in the world, there will always be a place for religion. They depend in it to know what is rite & wrong. With out it they are so dumb they cant work it out for them self.
CBC radio interviewed Deepak Chopra yesterday who is peddling his latest book “Why Is God Laughing”. The interview started with a brief discussion about George Carlin and Chopra came out with these gems:
I think comedy is a much more effective way to enlighten people than religion. Religion is so serious that it’s a cover-up for insecurity. It’s also full of self-importance and hypocrisy. When you see all the scandals that emerge, they’re mostly from religious institutions. Self-righteous morality should always be looked at with suspicion because self-righteous morality is a cover-up for, as I said, not only hypocrisy - it’s also jealousy with a halo. If you want to experience your spirit then you have to understand ambiguity, paradox, contradiction. You have to shift perspective. You have to be irreverent. And that’s the only way you understand the human condition.

I like to say that God gave humans the truth. Then the devil came and he said “We’ll organise it and call it religion.”
