PS3 backwards compatibility news

Turns out that Sony have redesigned the chassis of the European PS3 to make it cheaper to manufacture, limiting the backwards compatibility with PS2 games. So not only will we be paying more for the console, it will be not run as many PS2 games as the US and Jap version and it’ll be cheaper for Sony to make. Gits. Think I’ll be buying a US one now.

PS2 game support to be “limited”............Hmm I wonder how limited is limited?

I wonder what the difference between 1 PS2 game that it cant play, compared to another game that it can. Some sort of different format? Weird.
