The only thing i liked about it was the touch interface (ooh err) but then i found an alternative…

The LG Viewty. I know it has a gay name, but that’s where the gayness ends.

seen the ad for that. the stylus would annoy me but apart from that it looks great.

I was in the T-Mobile shop yesterday and had a go of it. It’s damn smexy! The stylus is a bit shit, but you don’t need it unless you want to use handwriting recognition (which i don’t) so it’s not gonna affect me.
I will be the coolest dude in TC! (maybe)

I bought an iphone, and its a really nice handset if you dont want a phone filled up with so much shite you dont know what to do with it all…... iphone is very practical too, although you may lack some features it does itself proud in the fact that you can use all the features all the time and switch between them in seconds..

Had a play with the viewty too, wasnt really feeling it…... stylus are so passe (joke)

Fair play to ya mate, i just didn’t feel like it was worth my money as i’m an uber geek who wants a phone to do everything!

I just think that Apple were in too much of a rush to get the phone released here. It’s taking a step backwards in my book - No 3G, no video recording, no MMS, no expandable memory etc. These are things that users in the UK are and have been used to for quite some time. But in it’s defence, the touch use is fantastic and it’s a very quick device. I was almost gonna spunk my money on one ‘til i read about the Viewty.

You’re right about the stylus, but i reckon the iPhone would have included one too if they had wanted to add handwriting.

It takes me a long time to decide on a new phone as i used to work for Carphone Warehouse so i’ve seen all the phones and know what to look out for etc. It’s a nightmare!

My mate had one, it didn’t survive a famous night out on the lash in Krakow. Screen is crocked. That’ll teach him to try drinking against me…Oh , and our Polish mate ended up upside down at the foot of the apartment stairs (Lightweight)

Thanks for the link TBD Thinking about getting one of those for the Mrs - she loves the iphone but she’s always taking pics with her phone so a 5 megapixel camera would be far more useful. Have you seen the slow mo 120 frame video capture vids in the review? they look awesome, if you slapped some fat birds arse and filmed it I bet the effect would be incredible!
