Well, if I continued this series of links on photography- I would just mess up another topic.
Sea dog reminded me of some cool stuff that could be made with 64KB of RAM.
After a short research, I found a link to the game ELITE, released in 1983. First 3D space in poor vector graphic.
For me, one of the most intelligent PC games ever made.

Here are some links with old C64 games

What about the ‘BBC Micro’...That was the first PC i ever owned, (early 80’s) My first ever programming experience with an external ‘tape drive’ that took 15 minutes to load…and 90% of the time, it didn’t and you had to start all over again…

Actually, BBC micro`s basic was first programming language “Elite” was written in. LOL. Damn, I`m old. Hahahaaa.
C64 had also crappy tape program loading. You had to have screwdriver all the time in your hand, cause the head position on the tape recorder was different for every single f**king tape in the world. Funny thing, when first floppy disc drives came out, they were even slower than the tape recorder cheese

i remember at primary school, the old floppy disks that are about the length and width of my mac mini, one disk held one game ‘space invaders’ took ages to load, the computer was solely for that use and filled a table.  how things change now you can get it on your phone.

My first was actually a vic 20 (google it) 3.5 k of BLAZING memory smile blue screen and all, THEN I got the c=64
monitor tape drive and two floppy drives and he LOUDEST dot matrix printer ever known to man.  The printer would actually
shake the stand it stood. ooh and don’t forget the 400 baud cartridge modem that you could call the local bbs’ smileand
download a crappy tape drive while HOPING you hit the record button at the right time.  Gotta admit that the 64 k of memory
and the sprite graphics were pretty cool at the time::
