Hey

I want to burn a movie on a normal cd-r as a VCD. It’s 699mb so I’m guessing it can fit onto a cd. And it’s .avi.

When I try with Nero it says the file is too big for a normal cd…something like 780mb

What program should I use and do I have to convert it from .avi to something else?

You’ll need to convert it to a different format - VCD I think.

I’ve used in the past WIN/AVI Video Converter to do that!

Have you tried using any other programmes besides Nero?

Yeah I just tried ‘Blaze Media Pro’ and it was taking like 8 hours to convert it.

It takes time, because it`s re-rendering it
Compress it more and convert it to divx with any video converter

So compress it first? I just started converting it with WINAVI and its nearly done…

...which didn’t work, there’s no audio on it. With the original I had to play it in VLC Player because WMP said something about codec’s. Should I even bother…?

stick it on a usb stick seems easier.  its what i do.
