Help me pick a car!

So the time has come to sell my Saab and replace it with something more fun.

I’ve got a budget of around £2000, but i can’t pick a car. I’m bad at making decisions anyway, so here’s where i need help from you, the Crappers of the world (well, UK mostly cos i live in bonny Scotland).

Here’s what i need in a car…

Something that does 0-60mph in less than 9 seconds, has an engine no larger than 2.5 litres, can seat 4 people (no two-seaters), and nothing from BMW!

Now go forth and give me much needed help! cheese

If you were in North America (USA/Can) I could make some sugestions. However I have no clue what cars might not be available to you in Scotland. Good luck though.

Not a bad pick b6, be interesting to see the mileage though cos its a petrol!!

Diesels are the way to go these days i reckon!!

I got a ford ranger for sale with a 2.3 in it 0 to 60 in about a week though, will tow a boat, or a rider in a wheelchair(long story)

That price for the scooby is wrong its 10995

What about this, great mileage, leather, quite fast and cheap as chips.

Cars are relatively cheap…

Everything else is expensive…

Petrol is just over £1 a litre now, parking is over priced etc…

What you need is a Renault 19 16V only a 1.8l, but the car is only made from plastic, so 0-60 takes 8.2, when new, but should still be good for it, and tops out at about 135mph, i know cause a mate of mine had one and i was in the passenger seat at 130mph! There is one for sale on autotrader for £995, a bargain! And we’re talking full leather interior and all the gadgets as well.

I was looking for a Evo under £2000, which i thought might be a good buy…

Found this on autotrader today…

Either it got no engine or the price is wrong…

This would be a bargain if ive ever seen one… LOL

B6… that price is definitely wrong. The cheapest Evo’s i’ve seen are about £3000 and thats for an Evo 2.

HH… I have only one problem with your suggestion… it’s French. A mate of mine had one ages ago and an electrical fault turned it into a fireball!

Humper… lovely suggestions, but i’d prefer something that can move faster than my bowels! LOL

I’m actually quite interested in a Nissan 100NX cos they’re a bit different and have a Targa roof for summer!

I know you have a soft spot for this, a Mitsubishi FTO 2.0 V6? There are a couple for under 2k on Autotrader.
