You wanna know the definition of mixed emotions?

Well just this week my best mate (of 20 years) & his missus just had their first baby girl. Its great! Im really happy for them!

. .
. .
Then on the other hand, just this morning I find out that my grandfather has passed away…...............

One second Im happy about the new baby, & my other newphew & Neice, then i remember, oh shit thats rite…... Pa is dead, damn it!! It hasnt really sunken in yet that he’s really dead….......... It’ll just be really weird going round their place next time. & Pa not being there…................

That really sucks! 

sorry to hear of your loss hxr. Here’s hoping he had a good stint. Its definitely not easy; two of my uncles have passed away this year so far, but think about the good times.

Can I also pass on my condolences, mate. workaround is right, there’ll be a lot of great memories and pearls of wisdom to draw on.

My sympathy mate. In the end all we have are the small hours we spend together.

Condolences hxr, I know the feeling.

Just been discharged from hospital, feeling great. First ‘phone call I get is from my Dad telling me that my 99 year old Gran’s had a massive stroke and is in a coma which she won’t survive. Only 4 weeks away from hitting a century, too.

He lived to 81 years old. But he really didnt look it. More looked like he was in his early 70’s.

Yea that’s rite, just remember the good times. & there was plenty!
