Maybe you could be a little more environmentally friendly than these old cars and get yourself a horse or in the ass?

Was this the sentence you meant to type? cheese

I doubt if a rotary engine would last 100,000 miles...way too high revving...and they use a lot of oil…

BUT...They are so quick and powerful for their capacity..

I can remember the Suzuki RE5, the rotary engined motorcycle from the early 70’s..

Are you still talking about engines?

After some serious investigation, i am going to have to shelve this one! Car, no probs, kit, no probs, then it gets tricky! Cost to fit and paint the kit, estimate £5-£6k then something i never even considered, the wheels, another £4k. So before i even start on the motor it is going to sting me for £20k+ and then the interior will need to be done, so my budget of £20k is well out of the water.

So i need some sugestions, anything considered, the more unusual the better, but must be RHD! As you will have noticed i want something quick but different and i’m willing to Pimp it, if required.

I like your ‘outside of the box’ thinking, but i’m far too lazy to cycle anywhere! Also, i don’t have a bike license, so sticking a motor in it is out of the question as well, but keep the suggestions coming.

HH’s…

About the Bodykit...I know exactly what you mean…

I bought a bodykit for my car...It’s still sitting in the garage a year later..

I just had a thought...What about a Caterham or Westfield...small engine...0-60 in 4secs...very cheap insurance...excellent mpg…

What about any kind of ‘already built’ kit-car...?

I like your idea DB, but i really like the thought of having a solid roof. Living in Scotland means the weather in the morning has no influence on the rest of the day!

As for a kit car, that would be ok, as long as it’s not a ‘replica’.

I take it that the body kit in question is for your C4? Which kit is it?
