No, not a euphemism - I genuinly have a need to polish and smarten up some old marble.  Anyone got any experience of this?

i know how to polish turds. not marble though, sorry.

Sorry, when I said polish, I meant getting old non shiny marble, to be be shiny sleek marble - possible with the use of some electric tools.  Not clean up old marble that has dirt on it.

I’ll be honest, I’m more looking for something I can do myself in about ten minutes with minimal mess.  Or… for someone to come over and do it for free.

If it is kinda shiny already then i would just get some furniture wax and wax it up.  It is is dull then you need to sand and sand until the surface is smooth, then take a polishing wheel or a buffer and go to town on it till is shines.

Don’t you need a buffer?

A floor buffer, I think thats what its called

Or something like that…

i thought it was wall buffer

Ceiling buffers are hard to find…

air buffers work well

Not as good as buffer buffers…

Flum buffers aren’t so good
