AVG are forcing everyone to update to v8.0.1 (free) as the older versions will no longer receive updates from the date above.

PS…

Make sure you go into ‘advanced menu’ to set up what you actually want to connect and read the ‘EULA’ agreement when first executing the prog…it wants to download a toolbar and other shit that you just ain’t gonna need…

Nothing really ‘bad’...but you just ain’t gonna need it…

It has set too many things to ‘Auto contact’ for my liking…so i’m a bit disappointed…but they can be changed in the ‘Advanced Menu’ and during ‘set-up’...

So double check and read everything…
