Hmmm Well he sort of is. He was the last player to be the “official” captain in a competetive game.
Which means he was the capt what the shit hit the fan.
Anf I dont think Gerrard would be any better> he can be a dick at times.
Barry would make a good no nonsense capt.
or maybe Rio but I always think it is tough to be a capt from the back . another possible is Lamps. He shows real character and determination
