At the risk of sounding like a bit of a pretentious twat, how about a Forum for all things books - ala Totally Booked?

Maybe stuck under something like Totally Visual - I know it doesn’t quite fit in that category, but it’s close’ish.

It doesn’t have to be anything poncey or up it’s own arse.  Just somewhere that those of us who can read will have a place to talk about new releases, old favourites and authors.  Oh and slate badly written tripe.
The rest of you can write in crayon about how exciting you found the audio version of The Cat In The Hat.

Actually, as I write this, I can see it being the quietest forum in the history of TC…  ah well.

I recommend ‘Concluding Un-Scientific Postscript’ by Kierkegaard. ‘The Rainbow Book of Scat 1982’ and ‘The Brothers Karamazov’

I’m up for this, I’m always in need for a good book to read to keep me off the friggin ps3/wii

These first 2 books you probably know

Flashman by George McDonald Fraser (first part of 13 books about Harry Flashman the ‘cad’ from Tom Brown’s school days)
If you have any interest in military history or want to learn about various wars and military happenings in the 19th Century.
A first class antihero, he gets into the unluckiest scrapes and gets out with sheer luck, cowardice and a huge tool (where women are involved)

Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks

Breath by Tim Winton - This is my next read, its a surfing book and people that have read it have raved about it

EDIT - I can read well enough but I struggle to write, so dont expect in depth synopsis’ of the books (I failed engligh o level three times downer)

I’ll start off pop and easy saying I love Neil Gaiman’s stuff - particularly Neverwhere and Good Omens (w/ Terry Pratchett). Jump in on the Good Omens, NaughtyTeddy wink

I’d post in it but you’ve probably read all the Stephen King stuff anyway…

Ahhh! but did you know how every book is linked to each other?

Well I will of course bow to your final decision, but it might just be something else for people to join in with.
