I admit I went to a christian school & was raised as a Catholic......... Yes I was brain washed.

It wasnt until I was about 19 that I felt like I didnt NEED to go to church. & wasnt until I was about 22 that I worked out that this whole religion thing didnt make sense to me....... A little too pathetic to possible be true.

Its taken me 6 years to undo the years of brainwashing of my childhood. I have really thought about it all hard & researched it & came to the conclusion that its all bull shit. Evolution makes so much sence to me & it’s definalty true.

Unfortunatly, my best mate of 20 years has not come as far as i have. He is still a bit brain washed...... & its so sad. So I just try not to talk about religion around him. He’s not very religious, he never goes to church or anything like that, but he just cant get past the beleif of god, jesus & satan. But that his choice. So its ok.

But one day he says to me that quote. I thought Oh god WTF?? You can be serious........ So I just say Ahhhh huh..... Yeaaaaaa............ I was going to say something else, like try & explain evolution to him & the fact that there was something before the big bang............ But i just left it with an auqard silence...... 

So yea, I hate this quote.........

It’s something I can see chritians would use alot & will hold on to tight. Because they need reasurance evolution is wrong. If they just stay ignorant to the science, their bubble wont burst.........

Hmm, so where the fuck did that ultimate being come from? Or has it existed before the beginning of time - if so, how did time start? and when time started whas he\she\it created or did it just pop into existence. All a load of old codswallop if you ask me.

I have zero tolerance for religious ideals and beliefs (including anything paranormal)..

I cannot and will not, ever accept that an invisible being that lives in the sky, that has never proven itself to exist, created me.

Anyone who believes in ghosts, spirits, gods, demons...are fucking ridiculous.

As each day goes by...science is proving the non-existance of God and the paranormal...Churches are closing daily..attendance being the lowest it has ever been since records began in the UK.

The 21st century has no place for medieval, backward thinking. It has no place for ‘Ghost whisperers’ and their delusional followers.

I have no time for any of it.

(and don’t forget...there are no ‘born deaf’ mediums or psychics...Does the afterlife totally think them unworthy scum of having such a ‘gift’...seeing as Mediums now claim they only get ‘visual clues’ in their minds and not ‘hear voices’....due to several lawsuits in the USA..)

It’s all bollox..and i feel sorry for the people that believe in such garbage.

If only that were true. I’m constantly amazed that some of the cleverest people I know are profoundly religious and/or believe in the weirdest paranormal wackiness. No point arguing with most of them, either; as DB and I can tell you. Not many will discard a cherished belief, even if it’s shown to be patently false.

thanks. found some evening primrose oil tablets as well so the end cant be too long away. Although after the vitamins my cold seems to have cleared up…

Yes, but all the other sins are confessable - pretty hard to confess a successful suicide I suppose

I’d rather go to hell anyway. They wear white in heaven and im a messy eater so it just wouldnt work. Besides, hell would remind me of my estate so wouldnt get home sick
