But you went and found some pics that you never actually took… DOH !

Get yo’ arse online and find some old pics of your area that you can still recognise today...get a camera and take some shots of it.

Take a good look at the B/W pics...then go back down the graveyard…

Are those two posts in your first pic still there...? (cos it looks like one of them might be)...and thats the fun and skill...matching up old pics to what it looks like today. (it’s a shitload more difficult than you think)

That would be a good place to start scaling the picture you are gonna take/compare with the original B/W ...to try and get as near to the original, today…

Try and look for things you 100% see in old pics...and then take a pic at exactly the same angle…

I dunno what part of this you ain’t understanding…

But you actually got off your ass and went out and done it…

Thats means a ‘1st’ for you

Now, when you get a bit bored...go online...find some old pics of places near you...and then go out and take some pics of how it looks today...trying to get exactly the same angles as the ‘original’…

Ok...I’m thinking you got the concept of this now…

Look at the picture carefully, the angle is pretty exact, the church has since been taken down, you can still see the pillars at the entrance, the step of the church where the door was, and a gravestone, it has changed a lot since 1890. And that is near me, like I said it’s like a 20 second walk from my house.

Edit: also it looks pretty strange me going down to the grave yard and taking a photo of it, so that’s as best your going to get.

Maybe you should walk back a bit closer...(But then it would end up just being a pic of some chapel, you’ve photoshopped in...)

There’s gotta be something else near you that you can find…

Cos i got an idea you might be fairly good at this...and it’s well fucking intersting (well for me)...for a lot of people...who have only one or two ‘old’ buildings left...or countries that have a history of only 300yrs or so…

But everyone’s gotta have buildings and views that are at least hundred years old...that are still here today…

Are you taking the piss, how can you not see it, one pillar is broken in two on the floor, the other pillar still stands and is on the right side. The chapel was demolished in the 1970’s so it’s not there any more and a few more gaves have been added since the first photo was taken. There isn’t anything else I could do to prove it’s the same thing.

I hope someone else point’s it out for you as it’s bloody annoying the fact you can’t see the original features. On another note where I live it used to be a HUGE ROF(royal ordinance factory) spanning for miles, there are still bunkers, with rail tracks and pillar boxes around my area, as well as other artifacts from the war.
