But seriously, I really hate people trying tell people things they already know. It’s an odd practice, because surely no one assumes people don’t know it’s wrong? Then why tell people some more? I only VERY rarely watch anything I haven’t paid for, and it’s not out of respect for anyone, it’s because I’m never that desperate to see most things. I play ROMs of old games, but as far as I’m concerned they are old money anyway, the publishers can’t make anything from them. Only if they employed someone to sit next to illegal downloaders etc. to shout “STOP FUCKING PIRATING THINGS!” in their ear would any drive ever work. It’s like those warnings at the start of DVDs and stuff.
“Time to enjoy this legally acquired DVD copy, which I’m assured there is nothing wrong with whatsoever… oh… what… piracy… illegal?! NOOOO!” This man threw his DVD out the window and, in a fit of guilt, later turned himself in to the police. Or not, as that would NEVER HAPPEN.
