Well Red, I’ve just finished the Gunslinger; it was actually better than I imagined.
Not the greatest thing I’ve encountered as I found bits of it unsatisfying, but I am curious enough to keep an eye out for the next in the series.  Hopefully these will plug up a few things I felt were lacking.

I didn’t realise this thread had actually had a response. Glad you enjoyed it even if only a bit. If you can’t be arsed buying the 2nd book I’ll send it you, just to keep you interested. I’m seriously high on the series and how effects all his other works.

Cheers Red.  I actually bought the second one off Ebay a few weeks back.  It’s in my book reading queue, so I should get to it soon.
