If you are like me and like to read to have some fun away from the real world any of the four books from Dan Brown will fit the bill. They are meant for fun, not for enlightenment, so don’t believe stuff presented as fact, don’t pick at the details, don’t try to understand the characters’ personalities or true motives. All the stories plots cover a 24-hour period so the characters, the plot development and the pace all move very quickly. To date, his four books are:

Angels & Demons
Who stole the first bit of antimatter created on earth and how is it related to the death of a pope?

The DaVinci Code
Does someone hold the key to the lineage of Jesus Christ into modern day?

Digital Fortress
Is there a cypher that can encrypt digital data beyond the capabilities of the world’s largest code-busting computer?

Deception Point
Is there proof of alien life on a meteor buried deep in the arctic?

i find it pretty hard to get into a book, in fact i havent read an actual book since that and that was about 2 years ago

it was a good read though i should try one of his others.

I got about halfway through Da Vinci adn gave up. It didn’t hold any surprises and telegraphed the plot. Unfortunately, for me, his writing style wasn’t gripping enough.

Made the SeaDog way.

The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.

I began to read Angels and Demons...own it in fact but left it with my ex. I’ll pick it up this Saturday and start where I left off if I find the time. If not...at least it will be back on my shelf where it belongs. What I did read was very interesting. I have got to find out if the bomb explodes or not....shhhh dont tell me. I envision a sort of penelope cruz or eva mendez as the leading woman for a movie make ..... surprised

They are indeed easy to follow. Sometimes that is nice though...when you want to relax and read and not boggle your brain any further due to the days activities.

WTF I signed in as Bleve why did it put me back as POD? GRRRRRRRR.

Easy to read and “just don’t think about it - enjoy” like when Langdon goes for a little ride in a helicopter. That’s not a spoiler but a little tease to get you back into the story.

I’ve read worse, but I’ve also read much better; one of his books was enough for me.

I prefer red biros. If you write notes to people in red ink it means you want to kill them.
