Police hunting ‘suspicious’ man

A man who made inappropriate comments to a woman in Aberdeen is being sought by police.

The woman was walking along Menzies Road in the Torry area at about 1345 BST on Thursday when the “suspicious” incident happened.

He made his escape in the direction of Victoria Road.

A spokesperson for Grampian Police appealed for information and described the man as black, in his 30s and wearing glasses.

I really need to pay more attention to the news. Missing vital stuff like this is a nightmare. I’m so grateful the Beeb is covering the stuff which really matters. Next week I’m hoping to read about the indifferent service received in a chain restaurant in Cardiff leading a diner to leave the bare minimum tip.

Firefighters have tackled a four acre straw and stubble blaze at a farm in Valley Road, Newton Green, Newton, near Sudbury.

Two crews from Sudbury were called to the incident at just before 5.50pm tonight and had the flames under control by 6.20pm.
