It’s strange, my friend stopped being one of ‘Our Boys’ or ‘Our Lads’ or a ‘Brave Troop’ when he came home without a pot to piss in and no left foot. But then, he was a victim of the age old expedient; if the cowards praise the soldiers well enough they can justify sending them (men and women) to fight and be slaughtered. Praise the solider , demean the human being.that’s how it works.
yeah, british citizens have never killed british troops before, wont mention NI at this point. national identity doesnt matter anymore. its a tiny tiny percentage
I have a lot of Muslims friends from work, they work well and I respect them, but I can’t tell them the sort of things I get up to at times, I think they would disapprove and would not remain my friend.
I wouldnt say the british are xenophobic, there is a growing sentiment against muslims though and its not being generated by tabloids, they dont need the tabloid press for this their doing a great job themselves with the likes of our old griend Abu Qatada et al.
They should all move out of the middle East and go and live in New York with all the other Jews then I think the Middle East will find peace.
personally i think they should stay there. When someone executes 6 million of your own kind for no reason, your entitled to a home. And the middle east is generally on the whole backward, corrupt anda dictatorship. I think you will find the governments prefer their people hating israel/jews rather than paying attention to what their own government is upto.
