Any chance of enabling the ability to delete your own posts?

Cheers,
SD

Alright so heres the deal...we don’t allow deleting of posts, its not because we dont love you its just because i dont find any reason to delete posts. When making posts be sure to try and not screw up, that way you wont have to delete your own posts. and also when we give people the ability to delete their own posts it will confuse us and other guests as to why certain things are being said in the forums because we didnt see that first post that was up but has since then been deleted.
If you have any more complaints about this please post here or spam my PM box
Thanks Mhaphew

It’s not a problem, I recently went to edit a post and it created a new one so I just edited the new one and put *deleted* in it. Just thought that looked messy and is really no different to actually deleting the post.

SD

Sead Dog
Why would you want to delete a post. I will only confuse things. And why would you want to edit completely what you wrote?
Just use the preview button before you let something go live.

It seems when you use the “fast reply” button, that their is no preview…

I agree, when you delete a post that people have replied to it does look confusing, no more confusing then this or this though smile. I suppose the ideal option would be to only be allowed to delete your own post if there’s been no replies, just for the odd occasion when you reread your post and think, “shit - that sounds stupid” smile

Cheers,
SD
