As you all know, i love my music. I can do up to 1000 miles a week just driving to and from work. So i get through a fair few cd’s each day and i was wondering what the other crappers rate as their top 10 albums. They don’t have to be in any order, just your current favorites.
I’ll start the ball rolling:

Amon Tobin - Permutation (jazz/drum & Bass)
Sneaker Pimps - Becoming X (trip hop/rock)
Soulwax - Much against everyones advice (funky rock)and the new one that i can’t remember the name of (more of the same, but a bit more electro)
Fun Loving Criminals - the first one, again, shit with names (real bluesy hip hop)
Joanna Newsome - The milk eyed-mender (harp playing folk)
Dr John - The night tripper (60’s psychedelic jazz)
Portishead - Live in NYC (orchestral trip hop)
Unkle - Edit music for a film: A new hope (hip/trip hop/ drum & bass with loads of samples)
Johnny Cash - American recordings col 1-V (Johnny & Rick Rubin at there bluesy best)
16 Horsepower - Sackcloth & ashes (bluesy country rock)
Jim White - Searching for the wrong eyed jesus (blusey trip hop country folk)

OK, so there’s more than 10 there, but there is a wide selection of stuff. Now it’s your turn. List your faves below.

Fun Loving Criminals - the first one, again, shit with names (real bluesy hip hop)

Do you mean their self-titled debut EP or that album called “Come Find Yourself” with that nervewracking “Scooby Snacks”? And Soulwax should be “Leave the Story Untold”. Glad I could help!

Unfortunately I’m not good in making up my own “best of"-list. So this is a half-hearted try:
Falco - Falco 3
Prince, George Clinton, James Brown, ... - you can’t name albums, they are just representatives of the funk genius
Cassius - Au RĂªve & 15 Again
The KLF - The White Room
Armand Van Helden - Gandhi Khan
Talk Talk - It’s My Life
Pulp - This Is Hardcore
Peter Gabriel - Us
Arrested Development - 3 Years etc.
Guru’s Jazzmatazz - 1st & 2nd album (thank god i’m german, so i don’t understand the lyrics at all and they don’t matter)
St Germain - Tourist
Sid LeRock - Keep It Simple, Stupid!

Well, it’s been a week or so since i started this thread and I’m a bit disappointed my the replies. Some of you have made the effort and i appreciate it, but surely there are crappers out there that don’t just stare at porn all day. Don’t you have any music in your life? None at all?

New faves include:

Fink - Biscuits for breakfast (Bluesy folk)
ZeroDB - Bongos bleeps and basslines (Latin jazz/Drum & bass)
Gypsy Beats & Balkan Bangers (mad stomping east european jazz)
Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones (Avant-garde jazz weirdness)
DJ Vadim - The second album, USSR something (UK/russian hip hop king!)
Yppah - You are beautiful at all times (check my last Band Aid post on TC)

Robert Johnson & son House, eh?

How about some Bukka White, Geeshie Whiley, Blind Lemon Jefferson and a bit of older Muddy Waters to go with that?

Guess i’m showing my age too.
