You guys over the pond have had both for a while now.. would any of u recommend either and why.. just were due to have the lower spec ps3 release this next week and me and a few mates are wonderin if sellin the xbox to get the ps3 is/wud be worth it?

Cud a mod set up a poll please on whats best, Xbox or ps3 plz as all the little coded bits above my little box baffles me sometimes.

well seeing as the ps3 is a big flop over here on this side i would get a x360 but personally i want a wii
all the big computer stores over here are discontinuing the the ps3 and only selling accesories and x360’s and wii’s

PS3 is a waste of cash. Stick with the Xbox360. Mhaphew is right, all the computer stores are dumping their PS3 products.

I ain’t gonna buy no Microsoft trash, where were they ten years ago? I grew up on PSX, playing MoH Underground as a little child, NFS3 with all those tracks all over Europe, Crash Bandicoot, OMG that was a great game. And I’m looking forward to play PS3. I don’t need no green shit or some Nintendo cheap trash which will be obsolete next year. And just to show my self as fanatic I’ll spend extra money to buy PSP (I haven’t already). Just to play PSX games on it…

Well NEMESIS I have a Wii, xbox 360 and a PSP and I can tell you as nice as the PSP is I still wouldnt think of buying a PS3… Read this from the pro’s at IGN....

PlayStation 3: Sony May Post Biggest Loss In 4 Years

In some concerning news for Sony corp. backers, Bloomberg (german financial analysts) states that the company is expected to post their biggest quarterly loss in four years. The lack of demand for the PS3 is deemed the main reason for the downturn. Apparently, PlayStation 3 is now being outsold by Wii by about two to one, causing Sony’s game division, its second-largest by revenue, to post a fourth-quarter loss of 121 billion yen and a record 245 billion yen deficit for the fiscal year, according to five analysts.
