I thought i’d share this with you all as i was superbly impressed.

Now i’m sure many of you have heard of or seen the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby team war cry, the Haka. What i wasn’t aware of was that there are TWO versions. Over the years they have most commonly performed the haka “Ka Mate”. In the early decades of international rugby, they sometimes performed other haka, some of which were composed for specific tours. Since 2005 they have occasionally performed a new haka, “Kapa o Pango.”

I could watch the Haka all day and never get bored of it!

There is a match where England or the Lions go and square up to the guys doing this dancing nonsense. It was face to face stuff. I’ll post it when I find a link.
I think that it was Richard Cockerill who squared up to some Kiwi. Can’t find the video.

The greates memory I have is when NZ played the SA in the 1995 Rugby Wrold Cup (Which we won (SA)), NZ did the Haika and we challenged them back by standing right in front of them. James Small being legend against Jonu Lomu…
