I work at an Engineering workshop in western Australia as a Machinist. Over the past few months a few of the guy’s at work have bought 3 of those cheap Chinese 125 thumpstar rip off mini dirt dikes. They bought them new on Ebay for about $600.

Just for fun, every Friday we race them through the workshop, out through the car park, over next doors car park & back again! Its lots of fun! But these crappy Chinese dirt bikes are so cheap that they are also Nasty. They break SO easily! Like, my boss was riding his the other day & he went over a bit of a jump & his bloody foot pegs snapped off! They were made out of crappy Porous ally casting! Looked like porous volcanic rock. They should of been made out of steel.

That & among other things. They are always breaking. Plus they are pretty gutless too. They are VERY loud! But gutless. Sometimes with motor bikes when they are very loud, you get confused between if they have alot of power, or if they are just making alot of noise.

And all the adjustments on them are shit. like the clutch feels like crap, the suspension is a total joke, & its just all feels cheap & nasty.

They’ve been telling me I should buy one too. They say their only $600! You can complain about that! I guess they are rite. But I would rather buy one that has more power & doesnt break every time I race it! & is of decent quality.

So I went to the Bike shop today to look at a decent one, a KTM 65SX 2 stroke. But they are way too expensive! About 5 grand! & I dont need a new one. A second hand one would be perfect!

So tonight I had a look on Ebay, & Bugger me! There was one in Sydney for sale! A 2001 model for $1450! Thats a bargin! So I hit buy it now straight away.

Since its a 2 stroke, it will have more power than those crappy Chinese 125 4 strokes!

When it turns up, at the next race, THEY ARE FUCKEN GOEN DOWN!!

I used to own an 03 Honda XR440. Hence my name. I really loved it! But had always wanted a Motard. So got the KTM SM & sold the XR. Thats the XR in the last photo with the new beast!

The SM looks heaps better hey!

SM stands for Super Motard. That’s its the class of bike. Half dirt bike, but with small fat 17 inch rims & tyres.

He was very sorry & also very pissed off. I said are you serious? Are you lying to me because you have changed your mind about selling it? He said no, it definatly was stolen. He was serious & Sounded genuine. & said if he gets it back I’ll be the first to know.

That Sux so bad. I knew it was too good to be true at that price. I told the guys at work all about it today & showed them the photo’s. Now tomorrow i have to tell them ah no, not getting it anymore. I got my hopes up. Damn it! I think i’ll cry now.

I so hope they get it back. But the chances of that are very slim.

They are both Euro bike manufactures, they are both very good quality & as good as each other, which is better that any Jap Crap. All in the same good quality Euro category as Husaberg, GasGas, KTM, Husqvarna, Ducati, BMW ect.

I choose this one because I liked the colors (carbon fiber finish) & it seemed to be the best quality looking out of them all. Of course it will not be any where near as good as the KTM. But little better than the 3 they have at work I think.

They are only $600, So it doesnt matter if they get a bit thrashed & trashed. & They are ALOT of fun!!!!
