There’s a new one in 2008.

..................Are you sure. hmmm

It’s what I heard, yes. Whould I lie to you?

Ah na i think you may have heard wrong.

Sukuki said they did not want to change the look of the new model too much, because that is like the Busa’s trademark.

& I think because people who buy them are boring & will get scared off if they changed the look of it too much. Yea I know they do over 300kmph but I mean boring as in styling wise.

This orange Busa in the first picture IS THE NEW 08 MODEL.

The blue Busa in the second pic is the old model. Any year from 07 back to 99 or some year like that. They didnt change them at all until now.

Notice the subtle changes? At first glance the new model looks identical, but if you flick from one pic to the other, you can see that it is a completely different bike. Everything on it is slightly different. Apart from the dated styling.

Could be, I’ll do some research.

All i know is they go like a bat out of hell which is what im looking for… cheese

b6

Any decent 600 road bike would go like a bat out of hell wink I started on a Yam YZF600 (Thundercat) which was a brilliant first bike. Cheap to buy and insure, very comfortable but would still do 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and 155mph (how much faster then that do you need??? ).

Cheers,
SD

Yea thats rite! You dont need to get a killer racing bike for it to go like a bat out of hell.

Usually the detuned naked bikes do 0-100kmph quicker than the racing bikes.

Because they are detuned to have the power at lower revs, they take off quicker from down low.

My brother’s Honda Hornet 900 has a detuned old 915cc Fireblade motor in it. It does 0-100kmph in 2.8 seconds! Very Quick!! & the speed & power under 100kmph is exactly where you want it.

Sure, after 150kmph the fireblade would flog it but how often do you go riding over 150-180kmph? Mabey once or twice now & then just for a thrill, but if you want to stay alive & keep your license, not very often at all.

Over 180kmph & high revs is where all the power is in these racing bikes! Up there where you never use it, unless your on the race track.

So, B6 before you go out & jump at the GSXR600, be sure to demo ride plenty of other style bikes before you make you decision final.

Like I said, I recommend a detuned naked bike. Like the Kawasaki Z1000 or the Honda Hornet900 ect…...

They are pretty cheap too! & beautiful bikes!

That all make sense? wink

Well I think its a 606 cubic inch CAT V8.

That’s a 10 Liter V8 in the metric system.

So a 10 thousand cc V8 Cruiser!!

Fuck Yea! cheese

But Im just going off the 606 on the rocker cover.

I guess CAT wouldnt make a V8 much smaller than that.

I think 606 must be refering to the CI size.

Anyone else know?
