We’re always quick to criticise when they play crap, so I think some praise is deserver after the last couple of performances. Thought last night they looked well balanced, played the ball around nicely and Owen looks like he’s back to his best:

I think England looked good, but Russia wern’t exactly top class opposition. We’ll see what happens when we play Croatia again.

Yeah well done England, 2 great results, goals and clean sheets.

Couple of words in regards to it though, i though England had a better shape to it and it could be seen on the pitch by the more fluid play….funny how they played like that and alot of those changes to the team were forced upon mclaren, ie no lampard, no neville, no rooney etc!!

The guys that came in made England look a better unit, my question is will the div go back to the guys i mentioned when they come back fit, personally i hope not!!

Its a well known fact lampard and gerrard cant play together, micah richards is the future, phil neville is not, and owen is scoring and looking good cos he has the big target man alongside him he craves, owen and rooney upfront just doesnt work..

Also Gareth Barry looked immense, he shoulda been playing for England for years, bout time he got his chance, a natural left footer with a good delivery on the left hand side finally!!

And well done Scotland, love seeing the so called super powers like France, Italy etc getting it stuck to them by what they would class as a minnow!! Well done Scotland!!

We punch well above our weight considering the number of people in our country
