Only thing i have to say is that if different cultures could understand each other better, ie muslims, the whole deal with isreal/palestine & jahovous witnesses then the world would be a brighter happier place & more likely to be safer for our kids n familys.

Hello De_Bunk.  Have you been keeping up with the news lately?  NEWS FLASH!  Africa is not the only region heavily with AIDS.  There is also Europe, Asia and South America too, who have their problems with AIDS.  Either you just have a bias against Africans anyway, or you are just unaware of how global AIDS is.  I just encourage you to go to a library and do some research.

I have to agree with DB, since having first hand knowledge… I come from Africa!!

The continent is a mess, more specifically South Africa the so called first world nation of Africa. Our useless alcoholic president doesn’t believe that HIV causes AIDS… Our estranged deputy president (who was on trial for rape) was quoted in court saying that once he had violated the woman (without a condom) and finished his business took a shower to ensure he didnt get AIDS. Our highly intelligent health minister believes that anti retrovirals are not the way to go, garlic is… Where is the mentalitly?

How is the uneducated person in the street supposed to put any of the measures that Europe and America have into practise when the goverment isnt.

I have also heard that some African tribes think that if you see a black pig on a Tuesday, at dusk, whilst you are taking a shit...that is also a cure for AIDS…

Neither myself or any of our 4 kids have been christened.....they can make their own choices in life.

Say there is a god, and this god allows a mass murderer into heaven just ‘cos he’s been christened, but condemns someone who’s lived his\her life contributing to the community and being a good person (but hasn’t been christened) to hell....where’s the justice in that???

Can any believer explain that concept to me? As i cannot possibly see any way that that can be explained in any way that would make sense if, as Christians believe, god is ‘just’.

Iv been christened, but i don’t go to church, last time i was at a church was to do some work, and no it wasn’t god that asked me to.  It was the bloke with the roll of pound notes
I just believe that ppl are allowed to have there own views on things, just don’t try to impose them on others, like a Joh’vas Witnesses or gays coming onto you.  I don’t like that at all, speak your thoughts.. don’t TELL ppl what to do/believe.  I have Muslim mates, and providing they don’t tell me iv got the wrong religion, im happy.  I could quite happily have a pint with db, but as long as he doesn’t try and say im wrong for having a religion.. were all good.

I try and let ppl make there own minds up, but when/if i have kids.. i’d have to think hard about getting them Christened, as giving children in the uk a religion nowadays makes them part of a group, and can effect them getting into schools and even jobs due to the government wanting a healthy % of races and religions at school and work.  A black, disabled >insert foreign religion< would have no problem in getting a job as a Police officer due to there employ all races policy.

After reading this topic again, iv noticed that someone has edited my posts, presumable mhap.. if u decide that you need to edit them fella, say so please.  The edit has removed your rant wishing AIDS on someone, which you have also edited in your previous post.
