the fact that the killer is hooded suggests we know him otherwise he’d just be shown with no explanation
the little girl AIN’T SEEING SYLAR!!!! last season she said someone was watching, when asked she said it wasnt him ....
as for global disaster- the plague killing the gifted people fits the bill
also a good way to keep the ‘hero’ quotient down..
