It comes & goes, It was there the other day, & I thought it was a joke or something. But I refreshed the page & it was gone. But just now I went to the FP & it was back again!

I don’t get the ad that you see above...but it’s better than a full screen pop-up…

I used to get the ‘Spyware found on your PC’ pop-up...and that was drving me mad until added it to my ad-blocker...and then Willy and Dev sorted that one out…

And now the pop-up ad bastards are back again....

Like i said before....This has nothing to do with TC...It’s just some bastard ad-spammer fucking with the FP…

The ads (there should be two soon, will occasionally appear.
We need to pay the bills too you know. They will only appear once or twice a day for each person, so that is not that bad. And they should not try and re-direct you to a different page. It could be the ads doing it or it could be a fuck up in our ad system that causes it. We are checking that out.

yes, is that a problem? TC has been (as good as) advertising free for as long as I have dealt the cards here and the porn hunger you guys display is costing us a fortune. So it is either shutting up shop or allowing a moderate amount of adverts on the site.

it should only be a rectangle and not a pop-up, as we never ever allow pop-ups.

Doesn’t bother me in the slightest - people have to understand that as something like this grows, costs grow and these need to be covered. You don’t all expect Willy and Dev to cover it out of their own pockets do you? Can you imagine how much hosting space and bandwidth is required by a beast such as this??? As long as the ads don’t use some sort of modal popup to get around popup blockers (such as sites like The Sun do) then it’s ok by me
