Hey guys.. so basically my suggestion is to give more space to upload sig… right now is 50kb

I think is not enough cuz a sig may take up to 100kb without dropping the quality…

It’s not much to ask just a little bit of space and i know a lot of the crappers feel that way too…

So I hope you consider it

We spoke to Willy about this earlier in the year.  He did increase the size from 30kb to 50kb i believe.  Remember chaps, if he increases the size, thats the size increased x 100k members..

See it as a challenge fella’s, trying to have an awesome sig with 50kb space!

In regards to sig size, whilst I sympathise (constraints are a pain) I started designing stuff in the in 90’s when everyone was on dial up so image optimisation was as important as the actual design itself. I’m still a stickler for optimising images so always try and ensure that any sig I create is no bigger then 20k....therefore the 50kb limit is fine by me Can’t see any reason why a 100x480 image would need to be any bigger unless it was an animated gif.

Take a look at some of my sigs. They’re usually around 70-90kb (60’s if I’m lucky) and look awesome (quality wise) as such. However, being forced to reduce size = reduce quality. The result being smudgy and.. Well, crappy looking sigs. (compared to what they would look like in original size)

Just take a look at your current sig for example. There are these blurry smudgy looking areas around everything in it.. And that’s not your fault, that’s just a result of saving it in low quality..
