I think you calculated backwards DB. I’m at GMT-4 (or -5 I can never remember which one so it was around 10:00 local time and I’ve been up for an hour.

It’s the poon along with the morning coffee that gets the heart started.

Nah, not quite, DB. You’re off by about 3900 miles - I’m actually near Toronto in the south central area of Canada. In another thread you said you were from Tennessee so I’m about 640 miles NNE of Memphis - roughly the same distance and direction from Plymouth, England to Inverness, Scotland.

Just for grins, let’s start a little guessing game as to my real name.

My father’s father emigrated from near Paisley, Scotland to near Paisley, Ontario, Canada in the 1880’s. Our family name is either famous or infamous depending upon one’s support of the Jacobites in the 17th century. I bet Big Don will get this quickly but, if not, I’ll keep supplying broader and more obvious hints.

The winner gets ... hell, I don’t know - maybe a virtual kiss so I hope it’s NaughyTeddy or Jem who gets it right first. With my luck it will probably be Humper.

Sheesh! It continues to amaze me how topics can go so far off track here so fast ! At least Gary attempted to rise to the challenge. The question of my real name was a challenge to see how many of the Brits here had any idea of history. Apparently cheap alcohol is of more interest.

Let’s try to get the guessing game back on track with another clue. I am named after an infamous 17th century highlander whose clan was proscribed by King James so he took the surname of either his mother or his lord protector (depending upon the version of history you read).

Hopefully some Scots will make a serious attempt at this one because the next clues are sure to be give-aways.
