Fucken HORRAY!!! Yep, I finally finished restoring my 1974 Honda ATC90!!!

I bought this bike in Jan 07. Ive been working on it all through out this year.

As you can probly tell from the photo’s, Yep I pretty proud of it! Its really this first thing Ive restored properly.

One thing is missing though. Notice the missing HONDA sticker off the pull starter on the left side of the engine? Im a bit annoyed about that! When I was giving it a clean today, getting all the dust off it for the photo’s. There was some permanent texta markings on the engine, I used some thinners to get it off...... Bad idea! I used the same bit of rag to keep wiping the engine a bit more. I wiped over the sticker, not thinking & wiped half the sticker off! The sticker is obviously just black ink printed onto a clear sticker. It came Straight off with thinners damn it!

Another thing Im pretty annoyed about is that I didnt take any photo’s of it before I stripped it!! But here is some photo’s of my other ATC’s. The 90 looked very similar to them. You know, like an old worn out 35 year old bike that had never been restored.

The mods that I made to the engine are, it has a high performance - Long Duration Cam, High compression big bore piston - 105cc, new In & Ex valves, Oversize 30mm Mikuni Carby, Custom high flow stainless steel inlet manifold. apart from that, the rest is standard. 

So thats about it!

Only thing i ask, could you pop one or two screencaps up for us.  Just so people get the idea of what there looking at?
But, i gotta say, i like it.. love the tyres. lol

Next year I am going to restore my old 1974 Honda ATC70. Dad brought the 70 in 1983. Pretty much had it my whole life. If has ALOT of sentimental value! But it is defiantly due for a restoration!

I restored the Engine. Its been painted that colour.

Yea they are unstable, But only very dangerous to people who dont know how to ride them!

No worries, Ive broken my leg before, On a 2 wheeler though.

But notice towards the end of my vid, how it tips & I hesitate. Thats how they tip over easily.

But still ALOT of fun!

They only stopped the manufacturers from making them from 86 onwards. They have not been banned to ride though. Well not in Aust anyway.
