What a complete and utter tosser:

December 2004 - Stubbed out a lit cigar in a youth players eye.
Summer 2005 - Assualted a 15 year old Everton supporter.
May 2007 - Assaulted his team mate Ousmane Dabo.

etc…not to mention his half brother, Michael Barton, was sentenced to 17 years imprisonment for his involvement in the racially motivated murder of Anthony Walker in 2005.

Sounds a nice family.

The thing is, I wouldn’t even say he’s much better then an average Premiership player so why the hell do the clubs keep pay him a fortune and give him chance after chance…strange.

OK, so I couldn’t give an arse about football, so could someone please explain to me why anybody else who gets a record for criminal violence would be fired immediately for bringing their employers into disrepute but footballers seem to be able to get away with behaving like scum?

Cos the Police are a bunch of wankers who are self absorbed with the motivating spirit to do as little as possible at all times. If it involves work they just ain’t interested.

Unfortunately, Joey Baton is typical of the thick chavs who get paid stupid amounts of money for being professional football players. It’s a bit odd to be remanded in custody for an assault charge. It’s not as if his identity is unknown or he has no fixed address. I suspect that he’ll be out first thing in the morning on New Year’s Eve.

prats like Barton get all the attention for stupidity while this happens to decent players. No justice
