Juat a thought, but I often end up leaving the main forum page open to keep an eye on new posts etc.
At the moment (and it’s not a major thing) I have to manually refresh the page. Is there any chance that some sort of auto refresh feature could be enabled?
No but really, as I say it’s not a biggy, it’s just something that might be useful to some people. That said, I’m sure it would annoy the hell out of others.

The lazy bastard, I am and the fact that I’m with a laptop on the couch, keeps me from constructing this device.
Haha, I have a laptop in the loungeroom too for when I get bored of TV. But this computer is right next to my bed and i’m laying on it now typing this, not lazy…just multitasking.

Use the free Opera my friend. Within Opera right click anywhere on the page and select “Automatic Reloading” (Ctrl+R). You can also select the timespan between updates (defaults to 15seconds).
