I am now after a games console, all of my mates own the 360, they love it.  I have always had a Playstation.  I’m not interested in the wee as you cant play that hungover on a Sunday morning! lol

But i want ‘the daddy’ of consoles, so either the 360 elite or the 60GB PS3 (hoping i can find one somewhere if not il settle for the 40gb).

So.. here’s where i need you.  Tell me what you got, why you love it and why i should have it.

Also i heard a rumour that the 360 has extra gameplay for the new GTA!  Can anyone prove this?

Are you sure you’re asking your son DB - or is this one of those “my friend” situations - u just don’t want to admit that you play on games console yourself!

By the way, I’ve got a XBOX 360, and the games may not all be of the same HD quality of the PS3 games, but most of the titles are on both, and the price difference will also help you save some money for those dinners with plush women!

Saying that there are more games for the PS3 is ridiculous, there is a far bigger selection on the 360. I prefer te 360.

I’d say XBox 360.
Personal choice, having tried both around friends.  Can’t say why exactly, just prefered it and ended up buying one.

When you get used to the xbox ths controls are actually better than the PS3. I have also heard that GTA4 will have extra features on the 360.

Wii’s also get you bloody knackered.

I think if you want serious gaming, then XBox or Playstation.  If you want a bit of fun with nothing in depth, then a Wii.

I have an Xbox 360 and i think it’s the console of choice.

Here’s why i think you should get one…

1. The 360 has Xbox Live. Online gameplay, downloadable content (maps, packs, cars etc.), voice chat, MSN Integration, in-game-voice chat, Xbox Live Cam (video chat, face in the game etc.), movie clips, game demos, Arcade games and everything. Only £40 for a year (sometimes cheaper from Amazon).

2. Bigger library of games.

3. Rumble in your controller (none of that six-axis pish)

4. HD-DVD drive is OPTIONAL, unlike the PS3 with a built in blu-ray drive.

Oh, Oh, Oh plus the Xbox has the Halo series.

With me getting a new tv, full hd.  A HD player is a must..
As for the plush women, it was a joke..  mine is happy with a chinese and an early night..
