Anyone else see the new series tonight and what did you think?

Wasn’t that keen on the last series but if its all going to be as good as this first episode then the licence fee is worth it

i thought episode 1 series one was good, where jack makes reference to all the piss, in our atmosphere, but i went off torchwood.  it feels half hearted and predictable, but it was good to see ‘Spike’ from buffy again and he played a good character, but the scenario has been done to death by all major TV shows.  i.e friend from past turns up betrays new friends etc..but i think this is due to the main scriptwriter writing for Doctor Who and Torchwood at the same time.

I thought it was a good episode actually.
The first series was entertaining enough, but it was a bit hit and miss at times.

Plus anything is better than Primeval on ITV.
