Ok Guys...(especially ‘Workaround’
)
The important things first..
1. Zonealarm (Pro/Free/Security suite)...All working ok and doing their job.
2. AVG (Pro/Free)...All working ok and doing their job.
3. Spybot (Search and Destroy)...Working as it should. (But it will ‘warn and ask for permission’ for certain ‘Registry’ changes...which were all safe to do so.
4. SpywareBlaster...working as it should. No probs.
The only thing i found was it ‘re-activates’ a few things that are not needed on system start-up...(which is just a matter of running MSCONFIG and your ok again...) and it also asks ‘Zonealarm’ to re-connect a few things because ZA recognises they have changed...but once again, it is all safe to ‘allow’.
Don’t forget...With ZoneAlarm, it asks for ‘server rights’...PRACTICALLY NOTHING NEEDS TO CONNECT AS A SERVER...so just deny anything wanting to connect as such.
So far so good…
I’ll let you know if anything fucks up…
One thing…
The download/update is between 69mb and 450mb and will take you at least 2 to 3hrs to download and install (and you MUST NOT turn off the PC or anything attached to it when its doing so)
Secondly...After you have downloaded it and installed it...You must reboot...let it install some more shit..then reboot again…
When finally you get re-connected...YOU MUST GO BACK to ‘Windows Update’ and re-check if anything is missing. I had another ‘vital’ download of 22kb to finish everything off.
Good luck…
