Senderos got turned again for Liverpools second goal (time for a decent centre half Wenger!!!)
Arsenal lost it from then on and Liverpool were completely in control.
Adebayor has started to look like useless twat the last few months. He ccan’t seem to control a ball, win a header a make a decent pass. Sure, he scored again tonight, but Arsenal had two other players lining up for the tap in.
Arsenal are in desperate need of a real striker, want that can hold up a ball until help arrives.
My former coach always said that it was ok to lose the first ball, but you always had to win the second ball. Arsenal were very bad at that tonight. Always a tad too late. No point in belting it up front if you know Adebayor is going to lose the header and you have no players that follow up the loose ball.
Walcott’s run and assist are the highlight for Arsenal. I hope Wenger will give the lad a start in the remaining games of the season to get his confidence up and so he can be a solid first teamer in the next campaign.
The penalty was crap. Fucking tumble for nothing. I know it is an IF, but if you give this one they should have given the one last week, that was a lot ore clear cut. Time UEFA took some action on refs. I think it would actually be a good thing to have the same set of officials referee both games. That way the players and managers know what kind of game they are going to have.
For a neutral it was probably a good game to watch, for me it was painful.
Arsenal made a shitload of money last year, time Wenger actually spent some of it on some on a couple of really good players. Centre half and striker please.
