Been using XP on my machine for a few years now and i’m bored with it. So i thought i’d give Ubuntu a go as i’ve heard people raving about it. So, is it really worth getting? I know it’s free, but is it worth changing? I’d probably have a dual-boot so i can have both XP and Ubuntu on it.

Ideas/comments/feedback welcome!

If you want to use Ubuntu go with Ubuntu Ultimate Edition

Its very good fast and lots of extra. If you prefer game you can chose gamer edition.

I know what you’re thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I’ve kinda lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?

Thats a great promotion for ‘Ubuntu’…

A vid with no sound that no one can actually read or even actually make out whats happening.....

And a sig that beens ‘rejected’..

Way to go…

I’ve been using ubuntu exclusivly for the last 16 months.

There is only one program from windows that I truely miss and that is foobar, nothing on linux compares.

If you do any gaming on your machine then I would probably dual boot (you can use WINE to run some games/programs etc but sometimes it’s more hassle than it’s worth IMO).

If you have any specific questions then just ask and I’ll try to help/advise.

I wouldn’t personally use the ultimate or gaming versions but I like to only have programs installed that I’ll actually use.

P.S. Irn Bru ROCKS!!!!
