probably has, if the fuel/oil tank caught on fire. driver has defo gotta be R.I.P.
Funny thing is that the R8 was billed as the new rival to Porsche’s 911. When you buy a 911 don’t they give you a lesson with one of their staff to teach you how to handle the power of the car?

The car is probably made out of aluminium, which tents to melt under heat. Which would explain the sad look on this remains of a car. The engine probably caught on fire. I’m guessing the driver just stopped his car, got out, closed the door, and ran for it. Oh, and probably cry while watching the bonfire from a safe distance. it’s what I would do, especially if I don’t have a fire extinguisher.
