think about it dude. That jacket is red fox. We have been using it for furs according to the archeaological record for at least 30 000 years in clothing, and probably a milion more before that. And its been hunted all over the planet for sport and furs. And they are thriving. That is because they benefit as a species fom being used.

well yes furs are expensive. That is because they have to have the highest standads of husbandry (think dude ; an unhappy animal loses its fur due to stress) or support a trapper (usually native) and his family and it pays to keep the wilderness the way it always was.
And vanity? Well here is the thing see I would rather have Heidi Klum in that fur for a night than have a kfc for the rest of my life.
Meat isn’t any more necessary than fur...and in the case of battery chicken involves a hell of a lot more cruelty. Ah but the chicken is only $2 so its not an issue. We eat meat because we enjoy it; heidi wears the fur cos she enjoys it and so do the vast majority of guys with any balls.

But mor than that. Many folk say leather is okay because we eat the meat? HELLO! NO. Different herds usually. With furs however the meat IS often eaten. Rabbit definitely. The rabbit lives around 4/5 years and is sheared for rabbit felt for hats.
Its well looked after and when it mets its end its a lot quicker than an abbatoir for a cow.
nutria is eatn in Argentina and Poland where it is reared in a maneged co system of wetland.
bavr is always aten by native trappers in canada; and what is left over fed to wolves which alleviates pressure on caribou. Then reindeer and fox and sable are used for meat by arctic and northern forest people in Siberia etc. And even fur farms usually use the meat for pet food...the xcpetion being if they are humanely put down like the vet does but then the meat is poisoned.

Now in th last 40 ys many animals have bn brought to the brink of extinction through habitat dstruction, usully for th much touted “laternatives” to animal use. All synthetic clothes are made from petro chemicals and detroys habitat; to make clothes mass produced that end up in land fills because they can’t be repaired or recycled like furs. And soya has destroyed the jaguars habitat. So well done vegans you are screwing the planet up. And about 50% of it is feeding cattle anwyay because nobody else but you and the chinese want to eat soya. That Jaguar survived ten thousand years of being hunted for its fur and now is buggered because of soya.
