While we’re talking about sentiment, I thought I might as well throw some youth memories in there. When Willy was a small willy he used to watch The Incredible Hulk on TV and loved it. The magic kind of got ruined by the movie remake a few years ago, but Hollywood is back for another go. The Incredible Hulk stars Edward Norton and as he is one of my favorite actors I just hope he does The Hulk justice and the screenplay does him justice. The brand new trailer is out now and I must say it looks like one dark rollercoaster of a movie.

One of the best digital animation franchises is the Ice Age one. Ice Age was cool, Ice Age 2 was cooler and Ice Age 3 looks set to become hot as hell. We’ll have to wait until the Summer of 2009 for the full length move Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, but the makers have wetted our appetite with a teaser trailer. Bring it on I say.

It’s movie time, here on TC again. This time it’s one that i am really, really looking forward to. Not in a Transformers style, (I know it’s going be shit but i want to see it anyway) but more along the lines of, it looks really good and i really want to see it. Robert Downey Jr, looks the part as Tony Stark and his suit looks the bollocks. And now there is a full length trailer and not just one of those stupid bloody teaser things, i am even more excited.

It has become tradition to blame every problem the movie or music industry has on the internet and its users. Maybe the downturn in sales and moviegoers also has something to do with the crap they produce. What we need are better movies that entertain us. What we need is an action comedy that revolves around dope. Thank the big toker in the sky for Pineapple Express. Coming to a coffeeshop near you soon. And I ain’t talking Starbucks.

Hollywood had its annual gangbang last night and they call it The Oscars. I did not see it cause eversince that few second delay has been worked in to remove any offensive to the Christian Right material it is no fun anymore. It seems the Coen brother are the biggest winners of the night and I also saw that no US actor won a prize last night. Do I care, no not really, but you might. Here are all the winners.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will probably be the movie of the year. I think the trailer for the fourth Indiana Jones movie has just been released looks promising. What do you think? Worth the download or not?

If you liked the likes of 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up and Superbad, keep your eyes out for the creators next installment called Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It looks like another no brainer, but their always good for a laugh and bringing the other half to the cinema. Release date is the 18th April, check out the trailer.

It has been almost 7 years and still public enemy number 1 has not been caught. Despite all the promises from Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and other big wigs Osama still takes a crap eveyr morning before going to work.Time for Mister Supersize Me to take matters into his own hands. The trailer promises much fun and laughter. But no Osama yet.

I’ve come to the conclusion that JJ Abrams is a cunt. Don’t get me wrong, he’s made some quality stuff over the years. Not only did he make the underrated Alias, but also gave us Lost, which needs no introduction. But now, he has got hold of the next Star Trek movie and i think he will do a good job of it. But the reason i think he’s a cunt, is were going to have to go through all these bloody teaser trailers for the new Star Trek movie, for the next god knows how long. Even if it does look good, it’s an odd film in the saga and everyone knows that it was the even ones that were the good ones. Didn’t you?

This is my first post of 2008, so Happy New Year to all you Crappers out there! I moved house just before Christmas and I’m still awaiting a phone line and the Internet so I’ve not been around here much, but I thought that while I’ve got the chance I’d bring you a list of the top movies that I’m looking forward to seeing at some point during the next 12 months (based on UK release dates!). 2008 is a year that will see George A Romero back with Diary Of The Dead, Harry Potter return with some Half-Blood Prince, Roland Emmerich attempt to impress us with more ridiculous special effects in 10,000 B.C, and Daniel Craig return in the as yet unnamed Bond 22. However, my personal top 10, in no particular order, are Cloverfield, The Dark Knight, Wanted, The Incredible Hulk, Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull, Iron Man, Star Trek, Rambo, Drillbit Taylor and Sweeney Todd. Click here for trailers (where available).

4 More weeks and JJ Abrams ‘secret’ filmproject Cloverfield will be unleashed upon the world. A whole undergroudn network of half baked trailers, dscussions and internet sites has kept the dream alive. As I said, 4 more weeks and you can view the whole thing. You’ll have to make do with the first 5 minutes of the movie for now.

The average American is recorded approximately 200 times a day on a security camera. A pretty scary thought if you ask me. Big Brother come to life. Handy though if you want to make a movie using just these security cameras. Look will be in a cinema near you soon. And remember, while you are watching it, they are watching you watch it.

I’m a big fan of most Will Ferrell stuff. Although I thought Talladega Nights was pretty bad he picked himself up with his two most recent and a couple of his better films - Stranger Than Fiction and Blades Of Glory. His next film is Semi-Pro, where he stars as Jackie Moon, the owner/player-coach of the rubbish Flint Michigan Tropics with dreams of getting them into the NBA. It sounds a bit Dodgeball-ish and Ferrell plays his usual typecast sportsman role, but it all looks good fun. EDIT: LINK FIXED.

I’ve never actually seen the original Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (or Get The Munchies depending on what part of the world you are from) but it’s got a bit of a cult following and I’ve heard good things so it’s a film I intend to lay my hands on as soon as possible, sometime before the obvious follow-up, in the form of Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanmo Bay, is released. Anyway, here’s the trailer, full of toilet humour. Gotta love it.

It’s early on Sunday morning and you need something to perk you up from your Saturday night hangover. What better way than 10 short clips of the best bikini scenes in movies, including the likes of Halle Berry, Ali Larter and the two Jessicas - Alba and Biel.

The lead animator for Matrix Reloaded, a guy called Jeff Lew, has decided to make his own animated feature film about an all-action bean. Killer Bean was originally featured in two short videos released in 1996 and 2000 and has now been given his own full length movie. Yes, it all sounds a bit surreal, so see for yourself in the trailer.

Remember Morgan Spurlock? He’s the guy who ate McDonald’s for a stupidly long time in Super Size Me, and now he’s the producer behind What Would Jesus Buy? It’s a documentary film focussing on the commercialisation and over-consumption of Christmas and the effects of it. It follows around a bloke called Reverend Billy and his Church Of Stop Shopping that has a choir that sing anti-corporate songs and warn of the Shopocalypse. It all sounds a bit crazy, and it certainly looks it in this trailer.

I originally posted this in the forum a couple of days ago, but thought that the quality of people involved in it meant that it deserved a bigger outing. Anyway, There Will Be Blood is from the bloke that directed Boogie Nights and Magnolia (P.T. Anderson) and has the immense presence of Daniel Day-Lewis in the lead role in a story about a greedy turn-of-the-century oil prospector who will do anything to have his own way. Watch the good looking trailer here.

Every year Film Threat compile their Frigid 50 - The Coldest People In Hollywood. It includes the “least-powerful, least-inspiring, least-intriguing people” in Hollywood and this year’s list was released today. Just about anyone who’s anyone in the movie business seems to have made the cut, although, somewhat surprisingly, George W. Bush makes it in at number one.

There’s no question that Jessica Simpson isn’t a great actress, so here’s the trailer for her next movie flop - Major Movie Star. Remember Steve Guttenberg? He’s in it too. He made a couple of semi-decent films in the 1980s in the form of the original Police Academy and Cocoon and that’s about it. Anyway, you might want to grit your teeth while watching this.
