there are parts of all religions that to atheists and other believers makes little or no sense, however the least sense is from following such religious texts such as the quran literally word for word. lets all get one thing straight, a “higher being” or god didn’t write these texts; it was a group of men who initially started/spread the religion. believing in a man created ideology that probably worked thousands of years ago, when the world was ‘bigger’ and countries more separate, is one thing; but acting out the “commands” they give is another.
