Band Aid: Philo
When we started the Band Aid appeal, we never expected to get so many responses and very grateful we are for all of them. It looks like there’s a lot of you crappers out there with some musical talent and tonight’s entry is no exception. Let me introduce you to Philo, a three piece band from Detroit, USA. They are currently on the shortlist for a record label through a nationwide mtvU.com competition to find the best new music coming out of American Universities. More on them can be found on their website, but they have sent us a couple of tracks to check out. Take it Slow and Two A Gallon. When they’re famous, don’t forget where you saw them first.

Ok… this is really bugging me and I think the readers of this site have sustained the torture well enough.
Grammatical lessons to learn for the updaters/webmasters of this site:
- When to use “they’re” as opposed to “their”
- When to use “wonder” as opposed to “wander”
For example: “When their famous, don’t forget where you saw them first.”
Are you serious? How do you mess that up? Clearly the use of “their” in that sentence is not appropriate. This is stuff they teach you in 1st grade.
It makes you look awfully ridiculous when you misuse these words.
Sorry Chris, i didn’t go to school. Willy has been growing me in his basement for the last few months and hasn’t got round to teaching me grammer yet.
