Beastie Boys - The Mix Up

The Beasties have been around for a long long time and each time they come up with something to amaze. I vividly remember jumping around to their classic Fight For Your Right and I’ll be hoping they crank out that tune next Friday evening when I go and watch them perform at the Rock Werchter festival. Their latest offering, The Mix Up, is out legally on June 26th, but the album has been put online for you to listen too. It is very different in the sense that it is an instrumental album. Takes getting used to, but some good tracks in there nonetheless, maybe the mashers amongst us can drop some old Beastie acapellas on top of the new tracks? The Beasties are also touring this Summer and as they are getting older I suggest you go check em out if you can otherwise you might regret it, they aren’t the Stones you know. Thx 2 Mark.
