4 More weeks and JJ Abrams ‘secret’ filmproject Cloverfield will be unleashed upon the world. A whole undergroudn network of half baked trailers, dscussions and internet sites has kept the dream alive. As I said, 4 more weeks and you can view the whole thing. You’ll have to make do with the first 5 minutes of the movie for now.
Interesting, will see it, but so far does kind of remind me of a cross between Godzilla and War of the Worlds.

Looks pretty cool, but those opening scenes were pretty much direct rips of some of the real-life filming of the twin towers collapses. Whether it’s a “homage” to it, I dunno, though it’s a pretty weird thing to pay respect to.
