What would the US gain by saying Saddam sat in a hole instead of saying he was caught after a fierce firefight?
If they captured him after a good ol´firefight at the NoMorale-ranch that would have been an equaly good headline.
So what this sorry assed goatfucker says makes no sense. Only thing I can come up with is that he wants some fame. Ofcourse everybody starts saying he wasn´t part of any service and a lot of more denials etc. and he will start moaning that´s because he was part of a very superdeepblackhushhush-program.

I am with JB on this one. That is the only reason I can think off. By portraying Saddam as a coward they could try to break teh back of any resistance still loyal to Saddam. ‘look while you try to defend him from us, he hides like a dog in the corner’ sort of thing.

But even then. If that fight was so heroic the bastard should have died like his sons.

If there was a fierce fire fight then why were no soldiers so much as even shot. Saddam had a gun but didn’t use it because in reality...he is a little bitch. We all saw the pictures of him after his capture and he didn’t look to defiant. The man is a coward. You don’t have to look for conspiracy in everything.

whats funny, is that if you look at the pictures, saddam is clearly caught by US Army troops.  how do i know? because Marines BDU’s are digitized and do not have the same pattern. so your story has some miss information in it.
