While the Dutch title challenge imploded in Basel last night, Scott Kalitta’s racing career and (drag) race car exploded. During a run at the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals Scott’s Toyota Solara exploded at close to 300mph. And to finish the job it also plowed into a wall. R.I.P. Scott Kalitta.
